Welcome Hannah Hoeger, CUB’s new Outreach and Communications Coordinator

Published September 4, 2019

CUB is excited to welcome Hannah Hoeger, the newest member of our team.

Hannah joined the Citizens Utility Board in September 2019 as the organization’s Outreach and Communications Coordinator. Before coming to CUB, Hannah worked at the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources within their Outreach and Communications Division, where she provided answers to stakeholders on various DNR programs. Hannah also served as the Communications Intern for the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources. She helped BWSR launch their new website by developing creative content and making sure accessibility requirements were met.

Hannah’s outreach experience started with urban gardening and topics of food security. She has led community outreach efforts at Frogtown Farm, Hamline Methodist Church, and Plantón Móvil. Hannah focuses sustainability from a regenerative and restorative lens and believes in working with neighbors instead of to or for.

Hannah received her bachelor’s degree from Hamline University with a double major in Environmental Studies and Global Studies. She lives in St. Paul and enjoys cooking Asian cuisine and gardening.

Please say hello when you see Hannah at an event in your area!
