Welcome Austin Northagen, CUB’s new legal intern

Austin joined the Citizens Utility Board in May 2022 as a legal intern. He will be conducting legal research and writing to support CUB’s participation in Minnesota Public Utilities Commission Dockets and in ongoing rate cases. 

Austin is a rising 3L at the University of St. Thomas School of Law where he is a board member of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and president of the school’s Environmental Law Society. Prior to joining CUB, Austin worked in renewable energy construction and development. Austin holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is dedicated to advocating for equitable and practical solutions in the energy sector.
