Welcome Akia Vang, CUB’s new outreach intern

Akia recently finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota in Environmental Sciences, Policy, and Management. He will be returning to back to campus this fall as an incoming student at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in the Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy program. He most recently was a Capitol Pathways intern with Fresh Energy monitoring the state legislature and energy bills. Prior to that, he had experience in water resources and the environment at the state and local government. He looks forward to his time at CUB working at the nexus of climate, energy, and environment to make a meaningful impact.
