Festival del Sol will be an opportunity to engage Lake Street and the broader Minneapolis Community in a celebration of Latin American culture, environmental and community connection, and uplifting of local vendors and food. The celebration will culminate in the beautification of a lot which currently sits vacant on Lake Street (2905 E Lake Street). The event will be held on Earth Day, and will be constructed to provide booths for art and vendors, an open space for mingling and social activities, and a stage for entertainment.
