What is it? Weatherization improvements protect your home from the outside elements to make it more efficient, comfortable, and healthy. Projects can include: insulation, air sealing, moisture control, and more.

What’s available? Most gas and electric utilities offer rebates for weatherization and some local governments offer additional incentives. The State of Minnesota is planning home energy rebates.

What’s going away? The Federal Tax Credit for weatherization and insulation expires December 31, 2025.
