Isaac Cheek
Summer Law Clerk
Isaac joined the Citizens Utility Board of Minnesota in 2026 as a Summer Law Clerk shortly after finishing his first year at the University of Minnesota Law School. Before law school, Isaac lived in the Intermountain West and worked for environmental nonprofits on drought, public lands, and wildlife issues. He also spent two summers teaching a Kenya-based environmental policy field course for the University of Utah, his college alma mater. Isaac now lives in Minneapolis with his partner and their scruffy dog, and he spends his free time fly fishing and rock climbing.
