SEMCAC in southeastern Minnesota is hosting a one-day special event on January 25 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm to reduce poverty and homelessness. They are bringing multiple resources to one central location: Trinity Lutheran Church at 609 Lincoln Avenue in Owatonna.

Persons struggling financially are invited to access resources for themselves and their families. Numerous organizations who provide a variety of assistance will be there, including CUB, who will provide ideas of how to reduce home energy costs and offer free one-on-one bill consultations.

Also available for free that day:

• Lunch
• Haircuts
• Flu shots
• HIV testing
• Dental screenings
