![]() David Pomerantz is the executive director of the Energy and Policy Institute (EPI), a watchdog organization working to expose attacks on clean energy and to counter misinformation by fossil fuel and utility interests. EPI shines a light on anti-clean energy, anti-consumer behavior of utilities, fossil fuel companies, and their lobbying and public relations machines. We provide communities with the information they need to hold corporations and policymakers accountable when they advocate for cleaner and fairer energy systems. Read morePrior to joining EPI, David spent eight years working with Greenpeace to move the electric sector away from fossil fuels and towards renewable energy. While at Greenpeace, he coordinated a campaign that pushed major internet technology companies, including Apple and Amazon, to commit to powering their data centers with 100% renewable energy. He previously worked as a reporter for newspapers in Boston and New York City. A transplanted New Yorker, David now lives in the San Francisco Bay area. |
